About Mayabunder
Surrounded by mangrove swamp and tiny Islands, Mayabunder is the spring board for the remote northern Andaman Islands. Located over 250 Kms away from portblair, this beautiful place is famous for its tiny Island groups, mangrove creeks and scenic landscape. The Dense green forest, clear blue water and rich marine diversity makes Mayabunder a great place to hang out.
How to reach Baratang
You can hire a cab which will pass through Andaman Grand Trunk Road to reach Mayabunder. It takes around 10 Hours to reach Mayabunder from Port Blair.

Karmatang Beach
Karmatang beach is an enchanting beach hidden within the woods. This beach of north Andaman offers eco-friendly sit outs, benches and shady shores which make this place ideal for picnic. One can enjoy swimming, snorkelling and just laying on the beach sunbathing here. Karmatang beach is also a turtle nesting ground. One can view nesting of turtles during December-February season. The sight of tiny life breaking open their shells and crawling through the beaches, leaving behind cute trails is indeed an amazing sight to behold.
